Open Meeting of Grannies à Gogo, 27 August, 2007

The first open meeting of all Grannies à Gogo members was held at the People Place in space arranged by Sherlyn Sewart, and the rent donated by Nixon & Wenger. The women joined in on discussion and questions about upcoming events, and then Susan Fenner gave a 20-minute information-packed Power-Point presentation. She covered some personal memories of Africa, the people we work with in Sabie (Ginny and Ruth), the Gogos and their grandchildren, the Wakefield Grannies and some initial activities of our group.

When the meeting adjourned Joan McKean treated us to wonderful refreshments to enjoy with our social time as we got to know each other on a more personal basis.
