Shopping Bag Sewing Bees

Amidst get-to-know-you chatter and assembly line methods, a crew of seamstresses, cutters and ironers have produced countless cloth shopping bags with attractive African motifs. They meet on an ad hoc basis with a different combination of grannies pitching in each time. The bags sell for $15.
