About the Artist: Gail grew up in Montreal and Winnipeg . She trained and worked as a bacteriologist. In 1987, on a whim, she and a friend took a watercolour course in White Rock, B.C. – just for fun. As they say, the rest is history. Since then she has taken many courses and taught many courses . She has been significantly involved with the Vernon Public Art Gallery, the Federation of Canadian Artists, the Vernon Performing Arts Centre , the Caetani Cultural Centre and the Vernon Community Arts Centre.
